About Albers & Company
Albers & Company was founded in 1982 by Bill Albers, a veteran of government service. Bill served in the White House under President Jimmy Carter, in the U.S. Department of Justice, and in the Federal Bureau of Prisons. He participated in many local, state and national political campaigns and was a nationally-known fundraiser for candidates on both sides of the aisle. In the early 1980s, Bill recognized that legislative and regulatory power was shifting from Washington, DC to state and local governments. He met that challenge by building one of the first multi-jurisdictional lobbying firms in the country.
Albers & Company is one of the leading non-partisan state and local government relations and consulting firms in the country. For over 35 years, we have represented many high level and diverse clients before state legislatures and the DC government.
Our internal team and expansive network of top lobbying consultants excel in managing multi-jurisdictional projects, connecting clients to influential policy-makers, and lobbying and monitoring on legislative, regulatory and procurement issues throughout the country.
We have built solid bi-partisan relationships with key contacts in the executive and legislative branches of state and local government, including Governors, Lieutenant Governors, Attorneys General, Mayors, Commissioners, senior agency officials, legislative leaders and other key policy-makers. We also have strong business connections with political organizations, state industry associations, chambers of commerce, and special interest groups.
Thanks to the experience and expertise of our team, we have a history of long-standing relationships with our clients and have built a reputation for delivering consistent and exceptional services while achieving cost-effective results.
